Donna M. Stephens

Donna is an administrator, educator and consultant in thanatology (dying, death, and bereavement). She is a RN with a MEd in Counseling and is certified in thanatology and traumatic grief. She founded the Forget Me Not Grief Program for Hospice of Anchorage, and teaches a Death and Dying course at UAA. She is a frequent consultant and speaker. She has a long history of health care management and non-profit board experience.

 

Donna and her husband Chris, both of Euro-American decent, grew up in New England and moved to Alaska in 1971. They are long time supporter of Bridge Builders. Donna joined the Bridge Builder board in 2003 and is honored to be able to actively support efforts to expand mutual respect and celebrate the differences of our diverse Anchorage community.
