SJ Klein
S J. is a business consultant in Anchorage Alaska, helping new and existing businesses assess their financial prospects and plan for the future. His family moved to Anchorage when he was six months old, and has called Anchorage home ever since. He has been a member of Bridge Builders since 2000, and has worked to help make the organization more sustainable through corporate giving programs, increasing member donations, and paid services. He has been on the board since 2006. He is treasurer of two other boards, Alaska Moving Image Preservation Association, and Girdwood Forest Fair, and has started a new business in Anchorage: Alaska Sprouts, providing Alaska with fresh mung bean and sandwich sprouts. S J.'s interest in Bridge Builders comes from growing up here, where Jews were so few in number that they weren't even considered a minority. He lives in Fairview, and believes Anchorage's diversity makes it a richer and more welcoming place to live. |
