Melvin “Mel” Williams

Mel is currently serving as the Employee Concerns Program Manager for the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company in Anchorage.  He is a retired Civil Servant with more than 38 years of experience in managing people concerns.  Mel has an extensive background in Human Resource Management, Civil Rights (EEO) and Organizational Development.  During his government career, Mel worked for the Federal Aviation Administration, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Post Office and the U.S. Air Force. Mel holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Administration and has accumulated more than 20 years in Leadership and Management positions with Corporate and the Federal Government.  Mel has been married to Avis “Bonnie” Williams for 32 years and they have 6 children and 5 grandchildren.
