Elissa Regan joined the Bridge Builders team in September as her year-long
A central part of Elissa's college life was dedicated to service in the local as well as international community including: work in Tijuana and Costa Rica, work with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the L'arche communities of Oregon, and Nightstrike. She worked as a freshmen workshop leader, a resident assistant, the College of Arts and Sciences senator, and chaired the Awareness, Carryover and Finance committees. Her mother, father, oldest sister and little nephew live in Evergreen Colorado. She has another sister in New York and a brother-in-law in Iraq. After years of hearing stories from her Mother about singing with John Denver in McCarthy, Alaska, she decided to see what the fuss was all about. After a month in Alaska she knew she already loved it. |
