Step 6:
With the help of volunteers or through a random drawing, pair up all Bridge Builders attending the potluck. Make sure that each individual or couple is linked with someone from a different cultural heritage. One way is to write the name(s) of each Bridge Builder (couple or individual) on a colored card that represents their cultural heritage.
Put the cards into a basket, mix them up, and draw them out. If two cards of the same color are drawn at the same time, throw one back and draw again, ensuring that those paired are from different cultures. As the paired Bridge Builders are announced, invite
them forward to the microphone to introduce themselves to the entire gathering.
Meet with the leaders of the major ethnic groups in your city to explain the idea of Bridge Builders and the goal to "build a community of friends" among the diverse groups living in your town or city.
